Cindy Nguyen is a seasoned sustainability and ESG expert with extensive experience in green building design, decarbonization strategies, and ESG data management across the APAC region. She currently serves as Senior Manager, ESG for Data Centres at ESR Group, where she leads the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy and reporting for one of the largest listed real estate investment managers in APAC. Her responsibilities include driving long-term decarbonization targets, overseeing renewable energy procurement, and managing green building certifications and climate risk analysis.

Before joining ESR, Cindy was a Sustainability Manager at UOL Group Limited, where she spearheaded sustainability initiatives such as the installation of rooftop solar panels for office and hospitality buildings in Singapore. She also played a key role in decarbonization studies, sustainability reporting, and other ESG initiatives.

Earlier in her career, Cindy held the role of Sustainability Manager at Building System and Diagnostics Pte Ltd, managing a team that provided consultancy services on green building design and carbon management across Singapore and Vietnam. She also served as a Senior Environmental Sustainability Design Engineer at the same company, where she collaborated with the Building Construction Authority of Singapore to develop an online carbon calculator, showcased at the International Green Building Conference.

Cindy’s experience also includes leading complex infrastructure projects as a Project Manager at PM Link Pte Ltd, where she managed the procurement, design, and construction of a large hospital project, the National Center for Infectious Diseases in Singapore.

With deep expertise in ESG reporting, carbon management, and sustainable design, Cindy has been instrumental in advancing sustainability practices across sectors, making her a key figure in the industry.
