Phuong Hoang is a sustainability and ESG data management professional with a strong background in climate policy, sustainable development, and data-driven solutions. She currently serves as a Sustainable Impact professional at COFRA Holding AG, focusing on ESG data management and reporting. In this role, Phuong has led initiatives to streamline ESG reporting processes and enhance sustainability practices within the organization.
Prior to her current role, Phuong gained valuable experience as a Data Management Intern at COFRA, where she supported the company in managing sustainability data and contributed to key reporting efforts. Her experience also includes a stint as a Network Convening & Policy Intern at Hello Neighbor Network in the U.S., where she was involved in project management and sustainability initiatives that supported policy recommendations.
Phuong’s career in sustainability began with hands-on roles in Vietnam, such as her position as a Junior Consultant at VNEEC, where she worked on climate change mitigation and renewable energy projects. She also served as a Project Manager Assistant at the Vietnam Climate Innovation Center, where she played a key role in planning and implementing climate-related events and policy dialogues.
Her educational background includes a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from KU Leuven, where she was a VLIR-UOS Scholar specializing in the Space and Society track. Phuong also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Development Economics from Vietnam National University, Hanoi, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class.
Phuong is recognized for her expertise in data management, sustainability, and project management, with a proven track record of driving impactful ESG strategies across various sectors.
